How It All Started
We are a family of four from Latvia who absolutely loved playing charades together. There's Jānis Senior (father), Lelde (mother), Marta (9 years old), and Jānis Junior (6 years old). Family game night was always special in our household.
But we had a challenge - we also wanted to include our youngest son, who was just 3 years old at the time. Little Jānis couldn't read yet and sometimes lacked the imagination to act out words that were just written on paper. We watched him struggle to participate in our favorite family activity, and it broke our hearts.
The "Aha!" Moment
That's when we had our breakthrough idea. Instead of just showing him words, we started creating pictures to help him understand what to act out. But we didn't stop there - we also showed him how he could act out each word, giving him examples and guidance.
And then something magical happened - it immediately clicked with him! Suddenly, our 3-year-old was not just participating but having a blast acting out animals, actions, and all sorts of fun words. He went from being left out to being the star of the show.
That moment of pure joy on his face was when the app idea was born. We realized there must be thousands of other families with young children who face the same challenge. Why not help them all?
